Our Team

Andrea Mahoney is a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse with a rich background in healthcare, bringing over 30 years of experience to Pellegrino Healing Center's Integrative Medicine. Her career began in psychiatric nursing, where she worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings. This foundation in psychiatric care laid the groundwork for her holistic approach to patient care, which she further developed while working at a residential school for individuals with Autism.

 

Andrea's interest in holistic medicine deepened during her time at a local medical practice specializing in Lyme Disease and other Tick-Borne illnesses. Her diverse experience also includes roles in substance abuse treatment and as a health office nurse at the Culinary Institute of America.

 

A native of Hyde Park, Andrea was drawn to the Pellegrino Healing Center as a patient, impressed by the center's integrative approach and personalized care. Inspired by her own positive experiences, she joined the team to contribute to the center's mission of providing hope and healing.

 

Outside of her professional life, Andrea is an avid animal lover and enjoys various hobbies, including artwork, playing the piano, gardening, and home renovation. Her home is a testament to her compassion, housing a variety of rescued animals.
